Join Leicester Bowling Club

The Club has a range of membership options from social members to full playing members. There is also a special category of social/recreational member for those wishing to play just non competitive bowls, occasionally, whilst enjoying all the social activities of the Club.

Our annual “Open Days” give a special discounted annual membership of £25 for adult novice bowlers joining at Open Day.

Leicester Bowling Club joins in with National recruitment programmes “BOWL4FUN” supported by Bowls Development Alliance and sponsored by Sport England.

Range of membership options: –

Full membership: £140

Junior: (under 18) £15

Social and recreation: £70 – Unable to play in any of the league teams or Thursday & Saturday games. They can play open day, Presidents Day, closing day, chummies and book a green for a roll up.

Novices: £30 – Players joining the club and new to bowls (concessionary price to enable them to buy any kit needed)

Social: £30 – All social events and carpet bowls

Leicester Bowling Club is one of the longest established clubs in the City. It is located 2 miles south of the town centre just off the A5199 (Welford Rd). It has excellent clubhouse facilities and a bowls green that is rated amongst the best in Leicestershire.
